We want the content of our website to be available to everyone, regardless of their level of ability or computer experience. As such, our website has been specially designed to follow the Web Availability Initiative (WAI), making it simpler, clearer and easier to navigate for all users.
However, below are a few extra steps that will make it even easier to use.
Using the Keyboard rather than the Mouse
The 'Tab' key can be used to flick through all the links on a page. Then press the 'Enter' key when the desired link is selected to follow the link through.
Text too small?
Hold down Ctrl and press + to make the text bigger
Hold down Ctrl and press - to make the text smaller.
You can also click on the View menu and then select Text Size. Click on the text size you require.
PC: Hold down Ctrl and press + to make the text bigger.

Mac: Hold down Cmd and press + to make the text bigger
Hold down Cmd and press - to make the text smaller.
Click on the View menu and then select either Make Text Bigger or Make Text Smaller.
Change the Text Font, Colour and Background Colour
You can easily change the text font and colour as well as the background to make reading easier.
Click on the Tools menu, then Internet Options. From here you can adjust the colour and font. If you click on the Accessibility button, you can decide to ignore the colours, font styles and font sizes of the website you are viewing. You can also apply your own style sheet to view websites with your choice of formatting.
Click on the Tools menu, then Options. Click on the Fonts & Colours button to adjust these settings.
